St. Fort Sur Gironde with its famous Romanesque church is just 1 mile away.  It has a small selection of shops, a bank and a bar and twice weekly market. Two delightful little ports with waterside bars and restaurants can be reached within 10 mins. Atlantic beaches, wine chateaux , interesting historic villages and towns, many tourist sites, a zoo, great shopping areas and a huge range of restaurants many specializing in seafood are a short distance away.
