A pleasant lively seaside resort with lovely beaches and many good seafood restaurants around the harbour. There is a superb indoor market every morning.  Every summer there is always something going on – concerts on the beach, music festivals, circuses, all sorts of events. For those seeking more sea and nature – Grande Côte to the north west and La Cote Sauvage a bit further on offer exhilarating Atlantic breakers. Also nearby is La Palmyre Zoo, said to be the best in Europe.
